Shay Healy

Shay Healy is best-known as a broadcaster and musician. He wrote Johnny Logan's song 'What's Another Year' which won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1980, and he went on to present several TV and radio series, including the ground-breaking 'Nighthawks' and most recently wrote the popular musical, 'The Wiremen'.
Shay is well-known throughout Ireland and abroad as a broadcaster, performer and musician.


Shay presents a weekly radio programme on 92.1 Choice FM each Saturday at 6pm. Called 'Profiles', the programme features the life, times, history and music of a chosen artist each week.
