**CELEBRITY COCKTAILS**
TRUE BLUE
(Created by Tadhg Coughlan of Frank Ryan's Bar, Queen
Street, Dublin).
45ml (1 1/2 oz.) Dublin Gin
30ml (1 oz.) blue curacao
1 splash of champagne
Serve in a higball glass.

TIME WARP
(Created by The Pogues' production manager Big Charlie
for the band and shared with us by band member Philip Chevron.)
INGREDIENTS
Champagne (or sparkling wine)
Tequila
Grapefruit
Ice cubes
INSTRUCTIONS
Blend to suit individual tastes. Philips says, "It's
important to catch the right notes of the champagne and
the tequila. It's important to use grapefruit juice as it
binds it together nicely."
While The Pogues were known to drink this from plastic pint
tumblers while on stage, Philip feels a cocktail glass or
coupette might be more suitable in a domestic or social
setting.
LADY LYDON

Lucky 13 Bar in San Francisco by renowned Dublin socialite
(and broadcaster) Robbie Foy.)
INGREDIENTS
1/2 oz. vodka
1/2 oz. gin
1/2 oz. rum
1/2 oz. peach schnapps.

Shake.(Be careful not to have it fizz.)

INSTRUCTIONS
Stir the ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled
cocktail glass. (Dermod suggests being sparing with the
vermouth, liberal with the olive juice and adding some crushed
olives as a garnish. "The muckier it is the tastier
it is," he says.)
